Needles

Yes Needles. I am just inside the border of california, on the california arizona line. On my way to torrance to visit family. arrived at approx 6:00 pm and it was 110 outside. as i look around this town i wonder why anyone would live here. its in the middle of nowhere. nothing around. nothing. the next closest town is 2 hours away. this is merely a pit stop on the way to somewhere. so why would someone live here. i cant image being a kid growing up in a town like ths. i cant wait to leave. and im sure most people feel the same way whether they live here or are just passing through.
